Riccardo Vitello
Riccardo Vitello is from Italy where he trained in ballet at The Massimo Theatre in Palermo. In 2004 he moved to London to study at the London Contemporary Dance School. He got a scholarship to attend Jacob’s Pillow dance festival where he danced choreographies by Christopher House (Canada), James Kudelka (Canada) and Lar Lubovitch (USA).In Italy he worked with Aldes/Roberto Castello dance company, Aline Nari/Ubidanza, Carla Onni/Improvvisamente, Gruppo FestinaLente e Pucci Romeo. He has danced with The National Dance Company Wales where he performed works by Stephen Petronio (USA), Stephen Shropshire (Netherlands), Itzik Galili (Netherlands) “Peeled”, Nigel Charnok (UK) and Stijn Celis(Belgium). Riccardo has also danced for Mavin Khoo, Darren Johnston, Roberta Jean,Janet Randell/ Cedar Dance Animation and Diciembre dance Group across the uk and Ingrid Nachstern in Ireland. He has also recently worked with The Generating Company for the 40th years celebration of the Arab Emirates.
This is his second year with Fleur Darkin Company.
