Quang Kien Van

Dancer and Rehearsal Director- Blake Diptych/DisGo

Quang Kien Van trained at Central School of Ballet in London. He went on to dance for a wide variety of companies including Adventures in Motion Pictures, Skanes Danstheater, Peter Schaufuss Ballet and Cirque du Soleil. As a UK based freelance dancer, Quang has worked with choreographers such as Michael Clark, Michael Keegan Dolan, Jacky Lansley, Fleur Darkin, Linda Dobell and Alex Reynolds in various Theatre, Film and Opera productions. In 2009 Quang created ‘Patient 319′ his choreographic debut, as part of Step Out Arts’ British East Asian Choreographers Development Scheme. Recently he has been a regular Guest Artist with Salon K, an artist lead performance collective based in Berlin. Quang’s collaboration with Fleur Darkin began with DisGo for the 2006 Place Prize. He is delighted to be part of the creation of Blake Diptych and the revival of DisGo.
